This is one of those delightful things that you usually only find in a small town. A place where everyone knows your name and the feeling of anonymity only happens to ‘outsiders’ and ‘strangers.’
Nonetheless, this is a delightful story of a coffee shop completely based on the honor system, and while you won’t find the best of brews at this small town coffee shop, you will find a lot of honest people:
Pretty cool, right?
It’s cool to see what can happen when people are honest.
I wonder how many churches could or do set up something like this on Sunday mornings? Wouldn’t it be cool if instead of rushing out of the house after breakfast, you could rush out of the house before breakfast and hang-out with your church family? There’s a lot of creative ways you could do it, too, giving all the profits to specific missions or causes.
For churches located closer to town centers or business areas, this could be something that could be done during the week.
What do you think?
