You’ve probably been hearing a few rumors, murmurs, and random posts about some serious changes that are coming down the pipe for ChurchCrunch.
Well, I’m pleased to show you the new branding for ChurchCrunch!
I’m super pumped about this new look and it’s going to look even better live (you’ll see, trust me).
Expect to see a super new look to this blog very soon as well as other extremely important news about a “network,” new blogs/coverage, and opportunities to write.
You’re not going to want to miss it.
Seriously.
So, to you… what do you think? Gut reactions? Gimme.

Looks great! Looking forward to all the new stuff.
Simple and catchy. Love your innovation.

Nice design overall. Pardon me if I'm being ignorant in anyway, but is there specific significance to the outline around the word Church? It kind of looks like a AA Battery to me.
What he said. I see a battery, too.
looks fancy!
Shiny! It's def an improvement over the current/old logo that has, well, no personality. I would also be curious what the origin is behind the "battery."
I feel like I need to go out and buy some AAA batteries now.
That is really good looking.
Did Jarred design this?
me likey…and you can see that it is clearly interesting, based on the number of questions already around that logo. Good stuff, man. I can't wait to see all the new stuff!

I like it, much better than before… i get the battery analogy, but I think it could do without just as much too.
I like it. Just looking at the current header, it seems to deemphasize the church. With this new logo, the church is emphasized.
Dig it.
Though, like @skeggsjp, I'm interested in the choices behind the battery design. Is it because you're charging the church or because the church just keeps going and going and going? =P

Oh. I get it now that I've seen the 8bit logo.
Win.
Minimalist – clean – but with weight for a good foundation, and bold in the CRUNCH. Looks like you're getting ready to break things. Will be watching!
church charged tech?
Hey John
Nice…looking forward to seeing it go live
Grace & peace

Well done. Looking forward to seeing the changes. May you continue to foster creativity in others.
Yes, looks like technology powered by the church. Very macho, I'll give you that. I'm not sure I like shiny, but overall I like the simplicity.
Looking forward to seeing this altogether.

I really like it. Can't wait to see the update!
Simple, yet elegant. Just like it's author.
I'm a fan! I think it looks very polished. Can't wait to see the new sites! Sorry I haven't written anything for you lately… I've been quite busy… My life has been scattered all over the place lately.

Love your work always. Love the 8bit network idea and the battery integration for that brand, but for Church Crunch, it's not working for me IMHO {GASP! Did he just say that?}. Don't know if you necessarily need to have a visual tie-in back to the 8bit brand across your properties from a conceptual branding perspective.

Nice logo! I love the battery shaped icon!
way cooooooool. Looking forward to it.
Soon I will be releasing my re branding of my blog as well – released into the wild

I like it, though, I think there will be some questioning of the relevance of the battery. I get it, based on your description of 8Bit and what that's going to be. In that context, I think it will work nicely. Standing alone…it's cool, if not necessarily clear on relevance.
My recent post Potty training. Fun. The soundtrack is “Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!”
Where are the dang t-shirts? Bring it.
seirously. let's do it. the 8bit could be some super-cool tshirts.
