Nice design overall. Pardon me if I'm being ignorant in anyway, but is there specific significance to the outline around the word Church? It kind of looks like a AA Battery to me.

What he said. I see a battery, too.

  4. January 27, 2010 at #

    looks fancy!

  5. January 27, 2010 at #

Shiny! It's def an improvement over the current/old logo that has, well, no personality. I would also be curious what the origin is behind the "battery."

I feel like I need to go out and buy some AAA batteries now. :)

    That is really good looking.
    Did Jarred design this?

me likey…and you can see that it is clearly interesting, based on the number of questions already around that logo. Good stuff, man. I can't wait to see all the new stuff!

I like it, much better than before… i get the battery analogy, but I think it could do without just as much too.

I like it. Just looking at the current header, it seems to deemphasize the church. With this new logo, the church is emphasized.

    Dig it.

Though, like @skeggsjp, I'm interested in the choices behind the battery design. Is it because you're charging the church or because the church just keeps going and going and going? =P

Minimalist – clean – but with weight for a good foundation, and bold in the CRUNCH. Looks like you're getting ready to break things. Will be watching!

Yes, looks like technology powered by the church. Very macho, I'll give you that. I'm not sure I like shiny, but overall I like the simplicity.

Looking forward to seeing this altogether.

Love your work always. Love the 8bit network idea and the battery integration for that brand, but for Church Crunch, it's not working for me IMHO {GASP! Did he just say that?}. Don't know if you necessarily need to have a visual tie-in back to the 8bit brand across your properties from a conceptual branding perspective.

I like it, though, I think there will be some questioning of the relevance of the battery. I get it, based on your description of 8Bit and what that's going to be. In that context, I think it will work nicely. Standing alone…it's cool, if not necessarily clear on relevance.
