Buffer just announced today, that they are offering a new tier in their pricing. For the longest time they’ve only offered the Awesome plan, and I can say that paying for Buffer has been one of the best $10 a month I’ve paid for this year, but now they have developed an entire pro tool set for social media management.
This new tier of Buffer is called: Buffer for Business.
Buffer for Business offers all the usual features, plus a whole new arsenal of tools that would be perfect for your church social media team!
Buffer for Business Churches
Buffer for Business is built for teams and those that are serious about maximizing their social media reach. Buffer for Business is not for the faint of heart.
Features include:
- 25-150 accounts (depending on your account type)
- 5-25 members (depending on your account type)
- Deeper Analytics, aggregated stats, comparison and more
- Approval
- Higher security
- Priority Access
- Plus, all the usual Buffer awesomeness
Buffer for Business is perfect for churches and ministries who have, or will have, a social media team. With this new social media tool, you can create two different levels of users:
There are Contributors and Managers.
Now you can have a team of social media contributors without worrying about what gets posted or posting too much. And remember, this isn’t just for Twitter, Buffer also works with Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ Pages.
So, let’s say you have four social media team members and you’re the Manager. Your team members, who are Contributor’s, submit messages to Buffer. As a Manager, you can then look at the submitted social media messages, make any changes, reject it, or feed it into your Buffer feed:
Of course those that use Buffer already know you can establish preset posting times across all your social media channels for when you want the messages to drop, so you don’t have to worry about flooding your channels all at once.
Pricing
Buffer for Business is only for churches and ministries committed to their social media messaging and those that have multiple team members.
The pricing is as follows:

I wish they would offer a $20-25 plan for those that would like some of the Business tools, but don’t have that many members. Perhaps they’ll bridge that gap in the future once they feel like Buffer Business is on solid ground. Either that, or there just isn’t much of a market for that gap. Either way, I am impressed and I am tempted to jump on this for ChurchMag and Finding Justice.
You can sign-up for a free 7-day trial and learn more on the Buffer website.
Does Buffer for Business look like something that would help your church’s social media team?

Thanks for the great article!
I agree with the part about offering a $25/month plan. Actually, I contacted Buffer, and they offer a 50% discount to non-profits. That was not indicated on their website. It never hurts to ask, huh? 🙂
That makes it much more tempting!
