Blue Busters – Internal Apple “Ad” [Video]

There’s nothing like an internal project to reflect the culture of an organization.

This video, below, is an internal “ad” created by Apple for Apple at the October 1984 International Sales Meeting in Hawaii. It wasn’t intended to be seen by the public, per se. Of course, after all these years, it’s not such a big deal, but it still tells a story of the early Apple culture.

As much as Apple is known ofr being a computer for “creatives,” it doesn’t surprise me to see such solid work and effort in something just for those at Apple.

Enjoy the video!

Classic.

That is fantastic! I remember seeing that at a festival for multi-image shows in the late ’80s. That was actually shot on 35 mm still cameras with slide film, then played back on a whole bank pf projectors; I’m guessing 9 based on the speed and duration of the animations.

I started my career in live production producing shows like those, and it was a great trip down memory lane. Thanks for sharing it!
