BibleTech 2010: Bible Navigator X: Developing Spiritual Apps for the XBOX 360

I’m not a gamer. I used to like video games back in the Duck Hunt, Sega Genesis era but I laid my consoles to rest with Tomb Raider 1 on PS.

Last week at BibleTech 2010 Aaron Linne (@linne) presented about his journey with B&H Publishing Group to launch an XBoxLive Indie Game of the Bible.

From the depths of passion he conveyed the challenges of rounds of rejection as well as the joys of user testimony. Who would think that a decisive UI faded focus on a single verse at a time would enable a dyslexic user to read the bible with ease?

Or that a gamer would invest in another console so that his grandfather, aged with shaky hands, could flip through the Word with a controller.

During the session and subsequent demo, Aaron announced that a free update would soon be made available with live syncing capabilities. Another amazing step towards empowering gamers to disciple and making the Bible more accessible to the world.

    I downloaded this a few days ago. I really like it but I was disappointed to find out there was no video options. On pictures and the promo videos there was an option to play video but I dont see the function anywhere on my version. Is there a reason for this? Thanks
