This infographic is visually beautiful as well as it’s context.
The bottom graph represents Bible reference frequency, creating a timeline of sorts as it presents the different books of the Bible. The colorful lines show the connection points of these references, changing color and arch depending on its reach, creating the most beautiful Bible cross-reference you’ve ever seen.
Take a look at this rainbow of promise:

“The bar graph that runs along the bottom represents all of the chapters in the Bible. Books alternate in color between white and light gray. The length of each bar denotes the number of verses in the chapter. Each of the 63,779 cross references found in the Bible is depicted by a single arc – the color corresponds to the distance between the two chapters, creating a rainbow-like effect.”
A collaborated project between Christoph Römhild and Chris Harrison, you can read more and download an even higher resolution from Chris Harrison’s website.

Is it possible to obtain the actual data of the cross references?

Hey Megan,
not sure how we missed this, and if you’re still interested. but just in case, we suggest reaching out directly to Chris Harrison on this one

Does anyone actually monitor this reply section?!
Cause I just bought this for display at my church.. And imagine my disappointment when I opened it up, and it did not contain any details to which chapters corresponded with each other. Like otherwise I’m just looking at a colorful rainbow of nothingness. Very disappointed in this. Like why go to all this effort, and not include the details. God is in the details. So if you have the info, please send it to me. And I’ll add it in myself. I feel like I got scammed here.

Hi Robert,
Yes, we do monitor the reply section. We have just been inundated, and a little slower than we’d prefer. I’m very sorry to hear about your experience and disappointment. This is a project that we covered on the blog but is not ours. So, I would recommend reaching out directly to Chris from the purchase details (or here). He is reasonable and is the best person to help you.
