This is the first in a series of posts on how Church can do presentations (i.e. PowerPoint type things) better!
As a ‘screen’ designer (web, presentations, that sort of thing) one of the things that makes me cringe when I’m in Church is the way that presentations so often look. So in this series, I want to help Churches do them better!
But to start with, here’s a video that’s become a classic of how you shouldn’t do it!
‘Death by Powerpoint’ by Don McMillan:

So if that’s how not to do it – what’s how to do it?
Well in the series, I’ll be looking at topics including:
- The programs you can use to create presentations
- Good design tips for presentations
- How and where to get great (and legal) graphics for presentations
- Getting your presentations online (they’re not just for Sundays!)
But I’d also like to input from you.
Are there are topics you’d like to see covered in this series? – Please leave a comment!

I’m glad I’m not the only one Rachel! If you have any ideas for the series, let me know!

So when exactly will this series start?
James Cooper says
That’s a good question and the answer is SOON! I’d hoped to get a post done before Christmas. However, I run several large Christmas sites and they took up more time than I thought they would and then I’ve been ill since Christmas! So I’m hoping to get started this week ๐

We can’t wait, James! ๐
