Are You Familiar with Google’s Font Directory?

I’ve known about this for some time but someone recently reminded me of it and I realized that I haven’t shared it as a resource yet!

So, are you familiar with Google’s Font Directory? And if you are, are you actually using any of them?

I know a lot of people that I’ve mentioned it to recently haven’t. Well, now you know…

And knowing is half the battle…!

    I was very excited when they announced this and then shortly later dissapointed to hear no support on iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad (haven’t tested or heard anything about Android support either). Not sure if the onus is on Apple to support more than just SVG font rendering or Google to make web fonts use SVG rendering but either way if these fonts aren’t going to render on mobile devices I’m hesitant to use them at all.
