A Twitter-Based Spirituality

I wonder if we spend as much time on our spiritual lives as on Twitter or if we’re half as inclined to share how our lives are going (in the spiritual sense) as we are in our Tweets.

Just something to think about as we move into another weekend of “activity,” “Church,” and “Spiritual Work.”

Have a good weekend all. It’s been a long one.

It has often turned into the gospel according to twitter for me. I am more of a disciple of twitter then I am a student of the word. Good reminder.

I created a second profile because I forgot about my first profile. So I was logged into the second one on accident.

Certainly something to mindful of. A couple of weeks ago I read 2 Tim 2:16… “Avoid irreverent babble.” – and it really got me to start thinking about the content of my tweets.

Great reminder. I’ve been trying to practice “tweet awareness”, and not post every less-than-140-character-thought that passes thru my head.

    Surprisingly hard…
