A Look at 2,000 Blog Posts (and Statistics)

Over the weekend we silently slid past the 2,000 blog post line here at ChurchCrunch.

This is a significant milestone in terms of our short history of existence and most definitely deserves a lot more fanfare than a very simple blog post here, but we’ll get to the celebrations later I suppose, especially with our 2nd Birthday coming up in a few weeks!

Look for a sweet giveaway post coming up that will combine a 2-year birthday with 2,000+ blog posts.

If you’re curious, here are some general statistics about ChurchCrunch as it stands today:

  • 87.2 posts per month
  • Average of 338 words per post
  • Standard Deviation is 469 words

Conversation and Engagement:

  • Average 10.1 comments per post
  • Standard Deviation is 10.8 words
  • Average 369 words in comments
  • 1.1 trackbacks per post with a Standard Deviation of 6.6
