Having done consulting and social media for churches and ministries alike, and now doing the By The Numbers research project for ChurchMag Press, these happen over and over.
Be prepared to be challenged.

- Focusing on the quantity of followers, not the quality.
- Spamming. If people start to think you’re posting too many updates, they will simply stop viewing your page.
- Broadcasting the same message across all channels.

I think that not being interesting and unique is the biggest shortcoming, but it feels more like a ‘challenge’ than a ‘shortcoming,’ you know?
