The Google Apps Marketplace is a neat little place to hang out if you’ve got a few moments to test new apps. I’ve been trying more than my fair share and I love how it’s growing daily.
If you aren’t familiar with what the marketplace is all about, here’s what they say about themselves:
The Google Apps Marketplace offers products and services designed for Google users, including installable apps that integrate directly with Google Apps.
Installable apps are easy to use because they include single sign-on, Google’s universal navigation, and some even include features that integrate with your domain’s data.
Neat, right?
Here are 5 apps that might give you a good taste of what’s being created for the marketplace (and could be super useful too!):
OffiSync – Integrate Microsoft Office with Google Apps

Socialwok: Free Business Social Productivity & Customer Management

Aviary Design Suite

Zoho CRM

Dimdim Web Conferencing

Anything else you see that looks good to try?

That’s cool.
Do you think this is the future of software development?
Aviary looks pretty sweet. It would be cool if you could add this to your Google Account and not just your Google Apps domain.
I like the Zoho integration. SocialWok would be nice except I can’t get my boss to even approve some money to have our website re-designed despite the fact that it’s 5 years old. It’s embarrassing really.
