Since we’re going to be launching a new network (The 8BIT Network) which is going to include a number of blogs and online properties we’ve been looking at ways to combine RSS Feeds into one single feed.
The biggest need is so we can begin populating a lot of our properties with just one feed instead of several. This makes perfect sense as well for things like Facebook Fan Pages.
I’ve already written about how I’ve used Yahoo Pipes to do this here so that’s one of them. I’ve included 2 more which have worked well too…

You can do the same thing with Google Reader by creating a folder with multiple feeds in it. Google then provides an RSS feed that displays all the items in that folder. Easy!
I just used Google Reader and created a group, then shared the public feed of that group on another site, which also allowed me to output an unstyled list of recent titles, but it's all javascript.
oh yeah. that's definitely another option.
Very cool. I have used Yahoo Pipes and have seen RSS Mix, but the last one was new to me. I could see this being very useful for some projects.
My recent post What’s Your Magical Retweet Number?
very useful indeed.
so if i had a set of blogs that were by the same client…i could publish them as a mixed feed? and this "mix" i could publish into google reader?
My recent post What is Social Fresh?
Yes
