The current job market is tough for most people. Luckily, there are some signs of recovery. One area that is recovering nicely is IT. Jobs in information technology have always been harder to fill, but people still need unique skills and training to get a great IT job. The great thing about a career in information technology is the ever changing pace. What is popular now may not be so in three years. New jobs are popping up everywhere as new technologies are invented. So, if this sounds right up your alley, here are the most in demand IT jobs of 2013.

This year has been a very exciting and newsworthy year to be sure. From tragedies that are still on our mind, to deaths of tech icons such as Steve Jobs, to the new competition of Google and Apple, new inventions of the Google glasses, Facebook going public, landing on Mars to free falling from space, a president reelected and everything else in between. In all of this, social media captured every moment of 2012, sometimes faster and more accurately than any of the major publications that have now shifted to taking news from the networks.

Whether you work for a church, ministry, blog, or business that uses images, you have run into the Creative Commons licenses. You may never have read them before and do not know what you should or should not be doing or you may be very affluent in what you can and cannot do, but that does not take away from how much it can impact you in the future. To not do so will leave you open for trouble in the future. DO NOT let ignorance be your only excuse.

I don’t know about you, but the holidays can be a major source of anxiety. From travel plans to unexpected expenses, I have to continually remind myself to enjoy the holidays for all they are worth (that includes the fruit cake).
If you work at a church, you can magnify all that by 100. Sure, it’s great to see dozens of new families show up and to be a part of telling the Gospel story but the endless meetings, deadlines and expectations can easily leave us wishing that it was still summertime. I think we’ve all been there.
I just watched a video from Blaine Hogan about anxiety, and it was the thing I needed today. Perhaps, it could be that for you too.
For your blog to be attractive to potential readers, there are three things that matter in equal measure:
Attractive layout
Attractive content
Attractive writing
Of these three, the last one often gets the least attention. I can certainly understand that, after all most of us are happy to leave any and all rules on writing and grammar behind us once we’re done with school and college.
